Milestone birthday ceremonies can take place at any time of life.  Coming-of-age ceremonies celebrate the transition from childhood into adulthood, and can be very important to young people who wish to affirm their independence and identity.  Many feel that a ceremony at midlife acknowledges other important transitions.  Of course, many families want to honor the accomplishments of elders whose lives have been touchstones for their descendants.

As with any ceremony, I will work with those involved to craft something personal and important, something that reflects the significant events and signposts of the life lived thus far, and include readings, symbols, and rituals that enhance the story that will be told.

A keepsake version will be created and presented to memorialize the event.
